CRITERIA
Sponsored by Raytheon, this Award will be presented "to the Army Aviation ATC manager who has performed outstandingly in or contributed commendably to air traffic control during the awards period encompassing September 1 through August 31." A candidate for this AAAA National Award may be military or a civilian nominee and must be actively involved in Army Aviation ATC. Membership in the AAAA is not a requirement for consideration.
One or more of the general areas below may be considered, with no priority implied: 1) excellence in all managerial situations; 2) development and implementation of ATC procedures that have improved ATC management; 3) performance of duty that commands the respect and recognition of others in ATC; 4) outstanding personal performance; 5) outstanding achievement in community relations; 6) authorship of a recognized technical or nontechnical paper on ATC; and 7) dedication to the ATC system beyond the normal requirement or expectation.
